Version 1.0: Inflicting you all with poor quality work!


It's here, it's queer, it's the release of the first (and probably only) draft of Ocean Whispers!

That's right, now you too can suffer poor quality writing, terrible art, dodgy music and potential game breaking bugs! Well, if I had to while testing this thing a few billion times, why shouldn't you?

This is my first release of a game and proof that my coding ability, after several months of apathy related "balls to that" and a hell of a lot of screaming at my laptop "WHAT DO YOU WANT FROM ME!?", has actually improved! Don't get me wrong, I still need a ton done. Better art, personalized music and sounds, paperdoll methods, figuring out the filler arcs for the plot (Day 2 practically gets you face first in the characters' crotches so I had to rewrite the entire plot to add slow burn). There's a lot going on and waaaaaaaaay too many sprites for Carmel. But the point is, I did it! I also accidentally stumbled across a few lucky things, like the logo and name (which I wasn't going to keep but the logo looked nice...).

But now it's done and you all get to see what junk I can slap together after hours of lazing around, months of having no energy to do anything and a bitter resentment toward my laptop, coding and my complete lack of assets for a visual novel!

So suffer enjoy my work! ^^
