Okay, so I'm Doing Things


Bloody hell fire, was it only three weeks ago I published the last update? It feels like forever... (My perception of time is SO screwed)

Anyway, after getting completely ratfaced the other night (on what I later found out was a near empty stomach, so much barf and passing out was included... Funny enough, still a great night and the hangover left me in a good mood), I actually reduced the sprites as I had promised to! Student Day 1 is now fully redone spritewise, so that'll help make the file smaller in future (and make images easier for me too). I'll be working on Teacher Day 1 (just a tad more script and adding sprites to that) and Teacher Day 1 is now fully complete and sprited. I'll be rewriting sections of Student Day 2 and adding further sprites to that (it's devoid of them right now) which means more drawing them out. Student Day 2 is now fully sprited and written up. I've added a new title screen, 22 23 achievements (only one you can unlock right now) with visibly changing images and a scrolling list were the "About" screen used to be. It's not very pretty, but I'm quite happy with my work so far. I've also added persistent triggers so achievements will stay until you delete the persistent data and, if I ever get this to full release, all endings from every path will physically effect the title screen. If you've ever played Nekojishi and noticed the different (really cute) beastmen appear after you get a good ending, that's what'll happen here. But, again, that's for the full release, I've got about 700-800 scripts to write in total and I've not even completed two.... Oy vey...

In the mean time, I'm gonna try dig up more tutorials to make this work and look better, might contact  Dynewulf again to see if he'd help me out with paperdolling (I don't want to bother him too much, but he's better at this than me. He's actually the reason I decided to try and make this game. I'm really sorry if you guys get notifications about this project and it's all just me rambling promises. But now I've polished up that sprite system, it should make doodling sprites easier! I've also written the dreams in day 3 for students (Sorry, Dyne, but it's a nice way of showing a path was triggered! I feel guilty stealing some of his ideas....), however some are smuttier than others. For example, Greg doesn't have a smutty dream but Lawrence has two versions depending on what your stats are from day 2.

Oh, I'm quite proud of my choice here, but I already added smushing (sex) music to the game. If you wanna have a listen to that I sadly can't link it, but it's a freebie from Youtube. Just go on their audio library and search for "Late Nights" without the quotation marks. Being a 90s kid, I know the value of a good R&B tune and this one just feels so damn right to use. Seriously, I can just picture how good this'll sound in game...
