Current State Of OW

Okay, so my plan of uploading every uploading a minimum of every three months has gone to hell. I am sorry about that, but I've literally not had any time to myself, it's been constant chaos. Hence, with a decent amount of annoyance, I'll be announcing that the game will receive updates which aren't to the standard I desired. I'm talking missing backgrounds, lack of sprites, just text as of now. The commands for these things will still be in the code, I'll just need to focus on the writing before I can add images. There's also going to be a major overhaul of my sprite design, reducing the ridiculous SEVENTEEN sprites Carmel had (for one set of bloody clothing!) to ten or less. This'll make learning paperdolling easier and, if I ever reach the stage that I hire an artist, make their lives easier too.

However, despite my lack of progress, you'll be happy to know what little I've added to this. The special romance is already overhauled, so now I just need to keep writing for them, I've added the stats of two future optional romances that'll be released upon or close to the completion of the student path romances and I've got an idea where I'm going with the first day of each role (with "Parent" being aged up for plot reasons). I actually also need to figure out what species the Parent path child even is (Unless you use a special name, the PC is never directly referred to by species). I'm thinking of leaving it up to you guys, make a poll or something, but that'll be for in the future. I look forward to actually getting my bollocks into gear and providing a decent story for you all.

So, again, sorry for the huge delay. I'll try harder to provide updates. And, if I ever learn paperdolling, we'll all benefit from file size decreases!

Edit: Okay, phew! Just wrote a good chunk of an emotional scene and, fuck, I literally couldn't finish any branch of that scene without having my eyes drenched (trust me, if you ever get to play those scenes, you'll understand why). I really, REALLY wanna get this done up to those scenes (Day 7). It's actually easy writing these cos they've been preplanned from the beginning. I gotta get my arse into gear to get those out for you. (they have their triggers in place, but the triggers can't activated unless you're me or a hacker.)
